Flyers are a great tool to get the word out about specific Exam-AID offerings for sections of a course and more. They can advertise anything from upcoming Exam-AID sessions, openings in job positions for your school’s SOS Chapter, upcoming Outreach trips, etc. Post them up around classrooms or hand them out after lectures. You can also go to your school first-year residences and post them there. If your University is sponsored by a local business ask if you can post flyers on a bulletin board there. If your University has a plaza nearby check to see if businesses will let you post them there. Always ask for permission first.
Pamphlets can fit a bit more content – therefore, they are very useful when working to get the word out about all that SOS does as an organization. You can tailor them towards Exam-AID information, recruitment of volunteers, general SOS information, or Outreach information. They’re great to hand out during Clubs Day to recruit potential volunteers and/or people for Outreach trips. To find out more information about booths click here.
Rave cards can be handed out to Exam-AID attendees after their classes, across campus – anywhere! Be creative. You can again design them to have information about specific Exam-AID sessions, more general info about what courses your chapter offers, or for recruitment purposes. You can put them in your University’s Frosh Kits. To learn more about this initiative click here.
