Reports to: Chapter President(s) & SOS Head Office
As Vice President of Finance, you are responsible for all of your chapter’s accounting and finances, ensuring the chapter’s compliance with Revenue Canada’s annual audit for SOS’s charitable status. You will also be responsible for implementing an effective process for cash collections during Exam-AID review sessions, as well as safe-keeping the money raised from sessions. To excel in this position, you must enjoy working with both numbers and people, and approach projects with a great deal of maturity.

VP Human Resources
Reports to: Chapter President(s)
As Vice President of Human Resources, you are responsible for coordinating, managing and executing the human resources aspect SOS. This will include developing a professional hiring procedure, training new members and implementing any new policies. Your role is to create a team atmosphere by building a sense of team cohesion and bringing group members together. To excel in this position, you must have a very spirited, welcoming and approachable attitude with all volunteers.

- Assist the VP of Human Resources with maintaining a team spirit within your chapter by organizing various group events. The purpose of these activities is to bring together all volunteers to celebrate their hard work throughout the year, and to socialize with one another. To excel in this position, you must have good communication skills, be highly enthusiastic and enjoy interacting with others.
VP Logistics
Reports to: Chapter President(s)
As Vice President of Logistics, you are responsible for the coordination and guidance of all Course Coordinators. Although each Coordinator is responsible for the planning of their own particular course, your role is to manage your team effectively and ensure they are meeting all required guidelines, regulations, deadlines, etc. To excel in this position, you must have exceptional organizational and time-management skills, as well as the ability to pay attention to small details.

- Responsible for coordinating a course’s Exam-AID group review session & accountable for its overall success
- Work closely with the course tutor to determine when sessions will be, administer registration, & ensure sessions run smoothly with true SOS quality
- Help the tutor understand the material that the professor is covering and the breakdown of upcoming midterms or exams; assist the tutor in preparing the course package and ensure that it is uploaded and available for students to download at the end of a review session

- Responsible for training Exam-AID Instructors on how to effectively communicate course materials and how to keep students engaged at all times
- Ensure tutors’ material is consistent with exam requirements and that Exam-AID Instructors are teaching at a high standard
- To excel in this position, you must have the ability to motivate and inspire others, as well as provide tutors with constructive criticism

- Responsible for explaining the course material covered in class to students attending your SOS Exam-AID review session
- Explain the main concepts that will be tested on the upcoming examination and ensure students have thoroughly understood the content.

VP Marketing
Reports to: Chapter President(s)
As the Vice President of Marketing, you are responsible for implementing various creative marketing initiatives to increase awareness about SOS and the Exam-AID review sessions. To excel in this position you must have exceptional communication and leadership skills, creativity and be highly self-motivated. Experience with photo editing programs (ie. Adobe Photoshop) is an asset!
- Social Media Manager
- Reports to: VP Marketing
- Responsible for promoting SOS and the Exam-AID review sessions to social networks and other outside online channels.
- To excel in this position, you must think creatively, be able to communicate SOS effectively to the public and be proficient with online social mediums; experience with HTML, CSS and web site design is an asset.
- Street Team Executive
- Reports to: VP Marketing
- Manage all Street Team Representatives on campus, who in return promote our program to all students
- Responsible for implementation of all marketing initiatives & creating/implementing “out-side the box” marketing strategies
- To succeed, you will need to creatively develop promotional plans that will target students to our Exam-AID review sessions and volunteer opportunities.

- Work with the Marketing Team to develop effective promotional campaigns to increase awareness about SOS and the Exam-AID review sessions

- Graphic Design Executive
- Reports to: VP Marketing
- Responsible for assisting the Marketing team with any promotions or activities that require the use of graphic design
- Having the ability to use graphic design for various situations and departments within your chapter is an asset

The role of your VP Outreach is to lead your chapter through two primary tasks: recruitment of your chapter’s outreach trip(s) & communication of your chapter’s & SOS’s impact in Latin America.The VP Outreach will be responsible for leading the recruitment and coordination of your chapter’s trip(s) and working with the Director of International Outreach at Head Office.

VP Sponsorship/Business Development
Reports to: Chapter President(s)
The Vice President of Sponsorship and Business Development is responsible for developing relationships with corporate partners to gain financial support for SOS operations and development projects. Your role is also to manage the Business Development Team effectively and ensure that they are motivated to achieving goals as well as meeting all required guidelines, regulations, deadlines, etc.
